Our Services

We are a robust and successful organisation supporting 100 people with learning disabilities, 70% of whom have additional complex needs, either behavior support needs and/or physical disabilities and employing over 350 staff around the Clacton on Sea and Weeley area. To enable us to provide the very best care and support we have a specialist focus on improving people’s quality of life whilst promoting Active Support reducing challenging behavior through positive Behavior Support (PBS).

The care provided across all our services is Person Centered and tailored to each individual’s needs. The clients are encouraged to be involved in all decisions made regarding their support. We respond to the changing needs of clients and local communities. We provide a high quality personalised service and invest in staff and managers to ensure that they are skilled, confident and caring. We focus on client groups and service models where we are confident that we can deliver the required skills, resources and quality. Our PBS team is to improve quality of life as well as reduce changing behavior and restrictions.

We put monitoring systems in place to monitor the quality and impact of the services we provide.

Our Flats

There are sixteen one and two bedroom apartments, some with sea views, all of which are fully accessible and benefit from a call and intercom system.

There is a Day and Night Core staff available 24 hours a day in case of emergency.
